Business Membership
Business members help us to provide our three pillars of service to Seniors in the Manhattan area: Food, Fitness and Fun!
We cook, serve and home-deliver 45,000 meals and 7,200 dine-in meals each year.
There are 16 fitness classes per week and weekly Health & Wellness events and services.
Daily Social events include cards, games and educational support group opportunities on aging.
The Senior Center also hosts monthly Arts & Entertainment functions and conducts Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Courses.
Supporting businesses are listed on our website that includes a business logo with embedded links to the business web page. Business members also appear in our monthly newsletter that reaches over 600 area seniors. The Center also maintains a display area with your business promotional items and brochures.
The Manhattan Senior Center serves as the central location for senior-related activities and programs for Manhattan and Riley County. The building is owned by the City of Manhattan and leased to the Center at no cost. Riley County provides about 45% of the funding for Center operations annually with the remainder of the Center's funding coming from business and individual memberships, donations, and fundraising.
Business members support the center through annual business membership/sponsorship. A business membership is $125 annually.
Non-Profit (501 c3) Business membership/sponsorship is $36 annually.
Your support for the Senior Center and the Friendship Meals program will ensure continued service to our population.
