Who We Are
The Manhattan Senior Center serves as the central location for senior-related activities and programs for Manhattan and Riley County. The Center was built in 1982 through a cooperative effort by the Riley County Council on Aging, Riley County, the City of Manhattan, and area seniors. The building is owned by the City of Manhattan and leased to the Center at no cost. Riley County provides about 45% of the funding for Center operations annually with the remainder of the Center's funding coming from business and individual memberships, donations, and fundraising.
