Facility Rental

The Center's Mary Border Room and the Dining Room are available for rental after hours and on weekends to members and non-members. If you are interested in renting a room at the Center, please contact us at (785) 537-4040 or in person during Center hours of operation. 

Priority is given to Center activities and Center members. 

The Center reserves the right to reject any and all requests for facility rental. 

Size: 30' by 50' 
Occupancy: 100 maximum
Member Fee: $120 for 4 hrs ($30/hr for each additional hour)
Non-member Fee: $160 for 4 hrs ($40/hr for each additional hour)
Deposit (required): $200

Facility Rental Rules & Guidelines

  • Deposit or rental payment is required to hold a reservation. 
  • Full rental payment must be received seven (7) days prior to reservation date. A key to the facility may be picked up within three (3) days of the rental and should be returned the next working day. 
  • No refunds of the rental payment if cancelled within three (3) days of the reservation date. 
  • Persons renting the facility are responsible for setting up and taking down tables and chairs; cleaning tables; sweeping/vacuuming floors as needed; and for emptying trash. 
  • Rooms should be left in the same condition as they were found. 
  • Deposits will be returned within seven (7) days of the rental. 
  • Smoking, alcohol, and guns are not permitted on Center property. 
  • Use of the kitchen is restricted to counters and sink for water. 
  • A refrigerator is available, upon request.
